Authentic Hand-Carved® Woodcarvings
Product Description: Woodcarvings that are hand carved in Asia from kiln dried Lindenwood, also known as Basswood. Although a hardwood, the wood is soft, straight grained with a fine, uniform texture and medium luster and stains easily. Hand-carved means a craftsman with 21 different chisels carves each piece to White River's specification. Hand carving allows for more realistic shapes and deeper undercuts. There are slight variations due to the "human factor." Unfinished.
Technical: Fire Rating: NPFA Class C, UBC Class III. Carvings range from 5/8" to 1-1/2" thick.
